　　新版《小屁孩日记》根据《小屁孩日记之长途旅行》（Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul）一书改编，讲述格雷格为了参加奶奶家附近举办的游戏玩家大会，打着给奶奶过90大寿的幌子说服全家开车去奶奶家。当然，这趟长途旅行状况不断、很不顺利。
