After perfecting their rough-and-ready DIY sound, Toronto indie rockers Metric took a leap into the waters of polished, radio-ready pop with this fourth studio album, and proved themselves masters of their new craft. On songs like the relentless "Help I'm Alive," singer Emily Haines sounds sassier and sweeter than ever.
