About the Movie
Matt Lee Whitlock is chief of police in small Banyan Key, Florida. He's respected by his peers and loved by his community. But when Banyan Key is shocked by a double homicide, everything Matt Lee thought he knew starts to unravel, and he finds himself in a race against time to solve the murders before he himself falls under suspicion. Matt Lee has to stay a few steps ahead of his own police force and everyone he's trusted in order to find out the truth.

剧情简介
　　马特（丹泽尔·华盛顿 Denzel Washington 饰）和同为警员的妻子艾利克斯（伊娃·门德斯 Eva Mendes 饰）冷战已久，多年的婚姻濒临崩溃的边缘。这个节骨眼上，马特曾经暗恋过的女孩安（桑娜·莱瑟 Sanaa Lathan 饰）和她瘫痪在床的丈夫克瑞斯（迪恩·凯恩 Dean Cain 饰）搬回了小镇，这让马特的心情久久不能平静。
　　交谈中，马特意外的得知安患上了癌症，只有一种花费昂贵的治疗才能挽救她的性命，绝望之中，安和马特打起了克瑞斯的巨额保险的主意，后者更是利用职务之便，为安提供了一笔巨款。没想到意外发生了，安和克瑞斯的公寓燃起了大火，两具难以辨认的尸体出现在公众的视线之中，而本该在那里的巨款却不翼而飞。种种迹象表明，马特似乎被卷入了一个阴谋之中。
